Loue's Place Pizza & Pasta

Amazing service have been ordering from here for probably 6 months they always cater to my needs and try their best to satisfy me.

Take out food and pizza is great, usually go there every other week. Nice menu, food is always ready for pickup when they said it would be. Prices are reasonable for the really good quality - shrimp parmesan beats some restaurants we've been to.

**Edit ** I take back what I said before. I was mad and hungry ( very Hangry ). I couldn’t stay away from this place. Best food around and best prices around. I tried my best to avoid it but I simply Couldn’t. So I apologize for my initial review. Truth is this place is 100% 5-star. I’ve ordered from this place numerous times. It was always our go to place. The prices were good and the food was good. The customer service is absolutely horrible. Especially around closing time ( usually try and order 630 ish ) once it’s around closing time , they are rushing to get out of there and miss things or cook ur food in a rush or just give you old food. I never thought I would Have to leave a bad review for this place but it’s def slipping lately. Btw their solution is to always blame DoorDash. DoorDash seemed to be a security cushion for them instead of a way of making more money and getting more orders out.

went here for the first time tonight.. didn’t get anything extravagant - just did a quick order of spaghetti with marinara. i’m typically not a red sauce fan but honestly it was probably the best sauce i had in really long time. glad i came across this restaurant. the rest of their menu looks great and the prices you can’t beat (especially nowadays). i’ll definitely be ordering from here again, excited to try their other menu items!! thank you for a quick, last minute meal!

Ordered for the first time via seamless and the food was so delicious! The portions were very large too; great for family dinners! Will be ordering again! Ordered veal marsala with garlic and oil pasta- yum!

This Place Makes Great Food! They do a a Terrific Job from start to finish. We used to just order the Pizza because my kids loved it, but I have tried many things now and am always surprised how delicious everything is! A All the Way!

Probably the best Pizza in Nutley. The right ratio of sauce and cheese. Definitely way better and bigger than the ‘famous’ place in town. Perfect crust, you can easily fold the slice without it flopping. The dishes are generously portioned, including the protein, no rationed thin slices of chicken. Definitely no shrinkflation at Loue’s.

There are so many places in our area to order pizza. Choices are unlimited. So when we had family over on Friday one suggested Lou’s in Nutley. I said we haven’t ordered from there in a while so I said sure. We order 4 pizza’s, 2 rice balls, and a sandwich for delivery. Well the food arrives and there is a problem at the start. They forgot to bring 1 mushroom pie. Nervous this was not going to turn out well with a house full of people, was quickly forgotten. I called and let them know 1 pizza was forgotten, I ordered from the Slice app so it was a glitch. They said they would get on it right away and have it delivered to us. Meanwhile everyone started eating the pies that arrived. 12 people all agreed. The pies from Lou’s were excellent! Margarita pie with sausage and hot peppers was amazing. The Sicilian pie everyone agreed one of the best they have ever had. Light and crispy, cooked all the way through. Then to the rice ball. FYI: 1 order is 1 huge rice ball. We ordered with vodka sauce. These were delicious & Moist ! So important when having a rice ball. Dry rice balls are so common. These were not your common rice ball. The mushroom pie arrived shortly after, so now everyone was happy and enjoying ! Lou’s Pizza in Nutley, NJ is Highly recommended by this family ! Enjoy!
